Bear
Bear (Euarctos Ursus americanus)

Natural clowns, but all are considered trainable (usually using a food reward system). True hibernation does not occur, but they do "winter sleep." Loners and wanderers by nature, growing fat in the autumn; very adaptable. They will eat anything and will live anywhere. Paw-sucking is a common behavior, but not well understood why; often purring and gurgling accompanies the paw-sucking. Delayed implantation occurs (mate in early summer, implant in December); total gestation is seven months while true gestation is only about two months. One to four cubs average; with each weighing only one pound at birth; hang around mom for up to two years.
